Welcome to The Bythams Primary School
Welcome, since joining the school in September 2024, I have had the pleasure of leading the staff team at the Bythams’ Primary School, we believe in 'Learning for Life...Achieving together'. Our children dive into exciting, challenging, and creative activities that make their learning come alive. I feel incredibly fortunate to work with a team of dedicated, hardworking, and caring staff and governors who are committed to helping each child reach their full potential in a joyful and safe environment.
We strive to create a space where practical activities give real meaning to learning, making it both enriching and fun. Our creative curriculum includes thrilling opportunities like forest school sessions and an array of opportunities for all our pupils.

News
My name is Mrs Riches and I am the EYFS class teacher at The Bythams Primary School. My wonderful team and I have been working hard over the summer holidays to transform our space and we’d love to be able to share the magical resources we have on offer.
As such, we’d like to invite pre-school children aged 3 and 4 along with their carers (relatives, guardians, nursery staff or childminders) to join us for some stay and play sessions throughout the year.
- Amazing Autumn: Wednesday 5th November 2025 from 1.30pm-2.30pm
- Wonderful Winter: Wednesday 11th February 2026 from 1.30pm-2.30pm
- Easter Eggstravaganza: Wednesday 1st April 2026 from 1.30pm-2.30pm
- Marvellous Minibeasts: Wednesday 22nd April 2026 from 1.30pm-2.30pm

approx. £8,243 - £8,639 per annum, term-time only plus two training days per year.
