FoBS is a charity run by parent volunteers that was first registered in October 1995 with the sole aim of raising valuable funds for the school. We use your generous donations to pay for essentials such as new equipment and technology such as iPads and an outside play area for the Squirrels class, along with important enrichment activities for the children. For example, recently the whole school went on a day trip to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park to celebrate the end of a difficult school year, for which FoBS made a significant contribution.
After a very challenging 18 months of lockdowns and home-schooling which made fundraising almost impossible, we are now at the end of lockdown and able to start our fundraising activities again. I feel now, more than ever, as children return to normality that they will need help from the school and from FoBS.
In order to keep improving life for the children of the school we need to raise funds and starting in the new school year our fundraising activities will include events for the wider community, so remember to keep checking our various media outlets (Glenside News, The Link, FoBS Fundraiser and Facebook) for further details.
Texts cost £2 plus one standard rate message and you’ll be opting in to hear more about our work and fundraising via telephone and SMS. If you’d like to give £2 but do not wish to receive marketing communications, text FOBSNOINFO 2 to 70470. Maximum donation £20
